Chaparral Veterinary Medical Center is an equine veterinary referral center in the foothills of Cave Creek, providing state-of-the-art veterinary care for horses over the past 30 years. Committed to our clients and their horses, we aim to provide the highest quality equine veterinary care and excellent service to ensure the health and performance of every horse we serve. We have vast experience encompassing a variety of medical and surgical conditions and we also offer routine and emergency care on an ambulatory basis. Our hospital is centrally located off Cave Creek Road in Cave Creek, Arizona, just north
of the Scottsdale and greater Phoenix area. We serve horses from all regions of Arizona and neighboring states. Our facility is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week in the case of emergency. Our equine surgeons and internal medicine specialist staff our hospital on a routine and emergency basis to provide unparalleled care for your animal. We also have a team of exceptional ambulatory veterinarians available around the clock to serve you, providing primary, general health care and emergency care for your animals. When you arrive, please remain in your vehicle and call the Front Office at 480-595-8600, option 6, to notify our staff of your arrival.
Prior to unloading your horse, the office staff will review all necessary paperwork and payment information with you over the phone. A member of our team will meet you in the parking lot to assist you with unloading your horse.
If you have a dog or cat, please wait in your car, call the front desk at 480-595-8600, option 6, and we will send a technician out to get your pet.
Visitation will be restricted to patients in critical condition which require serious medical decisions. Permission must be obtained by the attending clinician and will be granted on a case-by-case basis.
You will be allowed to visit your pet if we are performing euthanasia.
